Ingredients

  • 4 oz Lotus Foods Organic Brown Udon Rice Noodles
  • 8-10 frozen or homemade wontons
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ¼ tsp dark soy sauce
  •  tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic ~2-3 cloves
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp Sichuan chili flakes or Gochugaru adjust to taste
  • 2-3 green onions thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup hot neutral oil
  • ½ tsp sesame seeds for garnish
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro for garnish

Organic Brown Udon Rice Noodles

    Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook noodles per directions on package, then rinse in cold water and place in a bowl.

    Meanwhile, bring another pot to a boil and cook your wontons.

    Season noodles with soy sauce, dark soy sauce, brown sugar and vinegar. Then add in minced garlic, grated ginger, chili flakes and green onions.

    Once wontons are done cooking, add them to the bowl with the seasoned noodles.

    Heat oil to 370°F and pour over the aromatics aiming for the garlic, ginger and chili flakes.

    Mix well then garnish with toasted sesame seeds and freshly chopped cilantro.
