  • 4ย ozย Lotus Foods Organic Brown Udon Rice Noodles
  • 8-10ย frozen or homemade wontons
  • 1ย tbspย soy sauce
  • ยผย tspย dark soy sauce
  • 1ยฝย tspย brown sugar
  • 1ย tspย vinegar
  • 1ย tbspย minced garlicย ~2-3 cloves
  • 1ย tspย grated ginger
  • 1ย tbspย Sichuan chili flakes or Gochugaru,ย adjust to taste
  • 2-3ย green onions,ย thinly sliced
  • ยผย cupย hot neutral oil
  • ยฝย tspย sesame seedsย (for garnish)
  • 1ย tbspย fresh cilantro,ย choppedย (for garnish)

Organic Brown Udon Rice Noodles

    Cook noodles per directions on package, then rinse in cold water and place in a bowl.

    Meanwhile, bring another pot to a boil and cook wontons.

    Season noodles with soy sauce, dark soy sauce, brown sugar, and vinegar, then add in minced garlic, grated ginger, chili flakes, and green onions.

    Once wontons are done cooking, add them to the bowl with the seasoned noodles.

    Heat oil to 370ยฐF and pour over the aromatics aiming for the garlic, ginger, and chili flakes.

    Mix well then garnish with toasted sesame seeds and freshly chopped cilantro.
