Rice Ramen with Red Miso Soup

Our local Costco no longer carries the bulk package of Rice Ramen (no flavorings) that my son with celiac disease has eaten for several years. We found this product on Amazon and we were really excited that it actually came with seasoning. Shortly after eating it he had a severe gluten reaction, running a high fever and vomiting. Maybe there was a batch that got contaminated? It is a great concern to us that he reacted this way to a product certified gluten free.

      Delicious and Easy to Prepare

This ramen with red miso is so delicious with a little milk and sesame oil which makes the broth creamy and super flavorful. My 2 1/2 year old toddler is a big fan and always asks for her "noodles"!

      Bad Taste

Small, overpriced, noodles fall apart, tastes like seaweed and spinach - bad smell and tastel

It is very good and easily dressed up

I just finished a heavenly bowl of ramen—I used bone broth instead of water, sautee’d mushrooms and added some herbs/pepper/cayenne. Then added GF breaded chicken (oven baked) from TJ’s. It tasted like I was at a restaurant, yielded enough for me to split with my partner, and I am so glad I bought this in bulk so I can make it all the time. (I’m sure it would be fine with just adding water but that’s not how I roll)
