Ingredients

  • ¼ pack Lotus Foods Organic Traditional Pho Rice Noodles
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • ¾ tsp Chinese five-spice
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional)
  • 1 tsp fish sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp freshly squeezed lime juice (optional)
  • 2 thin slices ginger
  • 2 thin slices red chili or jalapeño
  • ¼ cup cubed tofu
  • 2 tbsp shredded carrot
  • ¼ cup bean sprouts
  • 2 tbsp roughly chopped cilantro
  • 2 fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 2 cups hot lemongrass bone broth

    Organic Traditional Pho Rice Noodles

      Break noodles in half so they fit easily into a 32 oz jar with a tight lid, such as a mason jar. Set them aside.

      Add soy sauce and Chinese five-spice to bottom of jar. If using sriracha, fish sauce, or lime juice, add them to the jar. Whisk until mixture is uniform.

      Layer remaining ingredients (except broth) into the jar on top of the sauce mixture. Refrigerate jar until ready to serve (keeps for 2-3 days).

      When ready to serve, remove jar from fridge and allow to come to room temperature before adding hot broth. Stir gently, then cover with lid. Let sit for ~10 mins to allow noodles to cook and flavors to meld together.

      Stir again before eating, being mindful the jar will be hot.
