Ingredients

  • 2 large oranges, zest and juice (~1 cup of juice)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce or tamari
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1½ tbsp cornstarch

      Add orange juice, zest, brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger to a small saucepan over medium high heat and bring to a simmer.

      Whisk cornstarch with a bit of water, then whisk it into the sauce. Continue cooking, whisking occasionally, until sauce thickens and turns glossy.

      Remove from heat and serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
