Ingredients

  • 1 cup Lotus Foods Organic Forbidden® Rice
  •  cups water
  • 7 oz or ½ can coconut milk
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  •  tsp salt
  • coconut flakes (optional)
  • raspberries (optional)
  • blackberries (optional)

Organic Forbidden® Rice

    In a medium sized pot over a medium-high heat, add water and rice and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cover.

    Cook for 30 mins, stirring occasionally. After 30 mins, rice should be fully cooked but still wet.

    Reduce heat to the lowest setting and stir in coconut milk, honey, vanilla, and salt.

    Once combined, turn off heat and serve either warm or cold with your choice of toppings.
